Our Store

Hardwick's Storefront - Seattle's Coolest Emporium Since 1932

Located in the heart of the University District, Hardwick’s is the place where you will find everything you need and things you don’t know you need. Featuring new and used furniture, tools, and plumbing, our store is not your typical hardware store. Stop by and see what we’re all about.

We Pay Cash

We will gladly take a look at your goods and offer you cash or store credit if we are interested. Please call 206-632-1203 in advance to verify if a buyer is available as we occasionally have to adjust our buying schedule. Our current buying hours are Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 to 5 and Saturdays from 10 to 12, or by appointment. We only consider furniture, hardware, plumbing, electrical, and tools. No guns, jewelry, electronics, upholstered furniture, or photographic equipment please.

Store Hours

Our retail store is open six days a week. Our current hours are:

  • Monday through Friday – 8:00am to 6:00pm
  • Saturdays – 9:00am to 6:00pm
  • Sundays – Closed

Holiday Closures

We are closed New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

If Christmas Eve falls on a Sunday, we are closed. Otherwise we are open but close a couple hours earlier than normal so our employees can spend time with family. We suggest calling in advance to verify our closing time if you plan on stopping by the afternoon of Christmas Eve.
